Using scratch to
deliver the KS3 ICT Curriculum
Control
Technology is an important part of the QCA
Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and also an area that
OFSTED have recognised as an area that many
schools need to develop further. To help
Enfield schools to deliver Control Technology
in a way that is both exciting and relevant to
students.
Central Enfield
City Learning Centre has developed a unit of
work that matches criteria from the revised Key
Stage 3 framework. The resources are freely
available by following the link at the bottom
of the page.
We can provide support by offering training sessions to show teachers and departments how scratch works and how it can be incorporated into an existing curriculum. Alternatively why not learn with your students and book a session at the CLC, where you and your students can get expert tuition and see what scratch is capable of.

The best bit is
scratch is an entirely free piece of software
that is available for download at
http://scratch.mit.edu/
so your school and students can download the software for absolutely free and get creating.
