Newly
built in 2005, Central Enfield City Learning
Centre is nestled on Parsonage Lane next door
to Enfield Grammar Lower School. The centre has
2 fully featured training rooms each containing
30 networked PC's and Interactive whiteboards.
There is a huge range of ICT hardware and
software available covering the entire spectrum
of both the primary and secondary curriculum
and beyond.
Our aim
is to provide specialist ICT support for
all
schools
in Enfield. This support can take many
different forms from delivering exemplar
sessions at the centre using the latest
technologies to provide teachers and students
with new skills and experiences, to helping
teachers and management teams plan and deliver
INSET in using new technologies in the
classroom. We also loan a wide variety of
equipment from digital cameras to laser cutters
- all free to Enfield schools!
Partnership is the
key to the way in which we work. If you are a
teacher who would like to bring a class to the
CLC we can plan with you to ensure that your
targets and desired outcomes are met.
Schools can also book training rooms to make use of the centre's facilities and equipment at no charge.
The centre is also available for community and business groups to hire. Individual training rooms and meeting rooms can be booked. Please contact us for more details.
